Trainings and WorkshopsRose City Copwatch's regular workshops explain your rights when dealing with cops, and teach skills for safely observing the police. When requested, we also offer workshops tailored to the needs of a particular group (e.g. "your rights" information for teenagers), as well as workshops on meeting facilitation and organizational security. Upcoming WorkshopsRose City Copwatch presents"Your Rights and the Police/How to Copwatch," a two and a half hour workshop covering civil rights basics as well as techniques to safely, legally and effectively monitor police activity in your neighborhood. This workshop is sponosored by PSU Students for Unity, and will take place Thursday, March 8th, 6-8:30 p.m. at PSU Smith Center, Room 296. |
